Over 100,000 Knitted Stitches of Love

... 277 stitches per line ... 16 lines per cable pat ... 23 cable pats ...... 4,140 extra stitches for the bobbles ...... and it all adds up to ... 106,076 knitted stitches ...
... which just sounds like a really disappointing number. Why didn't it add up to over a million? As that is what the last few cable pats felt like!

And I have to thank Sol of Lappesola for introducing me to this pattern from The Twist Collective (if you are into knitting check them out) ...
... is it not beautiful? I have purchased the pattern (and boy it looks complicated!!) It will make a perfect project to have on hand for when the bump has arrived and is asleep for 20 minutes here or there. They do sleep sometimes right?

beautiful! and the pattern you just bought. if it works out well you might have to make a replacement for the sweater coat of your sister-in-laws you favor. it is dire need of a replacement. i spent 3 hours removing nubbies from it last night.

Oh what a gorgeous blanket/afghan you knit. I think I will have to add that to my faves. I love the Sylvi coat too, just gorgeous. What color are you planning to knit yours in.

Rachael - that is truly extraordinary - you are an artist! I cannot even begin to imagine snuggling under a blanket that has been hand knitted - beautiful. And the red coat is divine - what an elegant mummy you will be!

That blanket is a work of art - totally stunning. You should be very very proud of it.

20 minutes sleep here and there? Yep, but during that time you'll be rushing around trying to get done what you used to do in a whole day!

Your blanket is gorgeous - you are so dedicated! - The pattern you have bought is lovely too - I am not patient enough to tackle anything other than a baby knit, but I have just sent a pattern and a load of wool off to my mum to knit up something for me - Natalie x
