Knitting Again

I had forgotten how calm and serene the world becomes when I knit.

I have been designing cable hats and I've been rather obsessed with making pretty patterns on the crown of the hats.
I just love knitting cables.I hope to post the patterns on my Ravelry page soon.

A little bunny update. She is now starting solids ... she loves peas, pears, prunes but she doesn't like peaches ... she grabs the spoon and swallows with great gusto ... it is awfully cute and terribly terribly messy ;-)

What a beautiful pattern. It reminds me of a Celtic knot. Just gorgeous.

Your daughter is adorable!

I love the hat. I make a lot of hats for charity. It's the instant gratification, I think. That one is a work of art. I'm looking forward to the pattern.

Sounds like you're having fun with baby bunny.

Isn't knitting great! I love your hat pattern. Can't wait to see it on Ravelry. How messy can eating peas and pears be after that finger painting from you last post? Sounds like fun!

Lovely cables. Ah yes, solids - suddenly you realise why all the catalogues sell plastic bibs and splash mats! Here's my top tip - always used a dark cloth for wiping off banana faces - that stuff STAINS!

you know , I've never even tried cables , and they really are so lovely. Messy is fun though :-)

That is so pretty. I feel like I can actually touch it and enjoy the soft feel and texture, just seeing your photos.

I love your cables! I remember when my monster was starting to eat solids and the food used to go everywhere, always just beyond the mat under her high chair!

I LOVE that hat, so beautiful and totally professional. I'll have to check out Ravelry, I've been in the mood for trying to knit again lately, must be the chilly weather starting! So glad your little Bunny is having fun with solids :) Hugs, Catherine xx

Gorgeous designs! Hope the introduction of solids is going smoothly - such a fun but messy stage.
